Photographer Annie Leibovitz 


Annie Leibovitz is known for photographing celebrities using her artistic form of bright colors and bold poses. Leibovitz was born in Connecticut in 1949. While attending high school in Maryland, she soon fell in love with art and went to San Francisco Art Institute to be an art teacher. Shortly after taking her first photography class, she changed her major to Photography. Annie was inspired by the work of Robert Frank and Henri Cartier-Bresson. The first picture Annie took was in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. Annie's first photography job was a staff photographer for Rolling Stone magazine, but was soon granted chief photographer and got to attend the concert-tour. After getting accepted to Vogue, her career took off. She has captured portraits of the Kardashian family, Queen Elizabeth the Second, Walt-Disney, LeBron James, and many other well-known celebrities. Annie Leibovitz is still living today and continuing her passion for photography.
